Yes, indefinable, the created creator,
bled not for your sake, tired, until retired,
only retire when still and cold, all life you have given,
warmth in the cold, underneath your life, survived nearly,
great, weakest, saints, giants and astray bosom on your nest.
Endless duties, to no stage, your pay has not known a currency,
life all shared, a hundred branched hands,
beyond law of nature, the best friend of no choice,
medicine to the heart, on your petals a rest assurance,
nest of return when hunted, the worst and best streams flow in memory,
staff and rod that won’t stray, a feed from my other God.
Formal and informal, the touchstone of wisdom,
sole encouragement with life, a title never to books,
the first and the last love, worst you still love,
a garden most peaceful, worst enemy yet the best friend,
loved and hated nonetheless a shoulder to cry best.
A heavenly visionary,
what is your price all tagged, what is your worth?
The miracle of life, never changing,
yes, you are indefinable.
