In Creative Corner, poetry

Before you were, her mind conceived you
As minute as a cell she received you.

All you needed embedded in her crust
Her very being nourished you.

From womb to tomb she held your kin
When she seemed doomed, an offspring first zipped; you.

You birth your young and cast your sorrow on her
But her greatest sorrows from one she received; you

So many seeds, so many creatures in one she believed, you
You dream of another, CJ, though all she gives thee
Only one party begs to be released; you.
