Nahida Esmail is an award-winning Tanzanian author who has published around 30 books for children and young adults. She graduated from Goldsmiths College, University of London, with a BSc in Psychology and completed a Master’s degree in Child Development with Early Childhood Education at the Institute of Education, University of London. She currently lives in Dar es Salaam and serves as the chief judge of the Wakini Kuria Prize for Children’s Literature.
