In Creative Corner, poetry

Hunger, Oppression, War!
Why did you rob her?
She had it all; she owned them all
Yes! But she cannot show them all
They have been perforated
Perforated by her children
Whom after she had nursed
Went to play and never returned.

She yearns,
Mother Africa yearns for that call
That call of hope
That call of duty
To summon her children to come back home.
