In Creative Corner, poetry

Grasslands and shrubs
Savannah and tropical rainforests
Good green earth sways east to west
like a hen, calling her chicks.
She is the cheerful giver and protector
of all that respire.
Axes, fires and saws
they come vision blurred
to make a living at the expense of their livelihoods,
Good green earth crumbles to the ground
with the ones she loved.
