Walls of time painted
by fables that have lived for ages,
Teleporting the legendary enthusiasm into our minds;
Incarnating within us a seed of patriotism.
The streets preach-
Of mighty men that rule from the grave,
Of banknotes and coins that hold people
who built an ultimate legacy
not founded by bricks and cement but by deeds and wisdom.
Eulogies might be made up and be forgotten,
Two-facedness withers and proud people perish,
But for eternity are the names of those
who have had vivid impact.
Oh, when I die, should my ink be remembered.
