In Creative Corner, poetry

Am I a stone,
Easily forgetting
the rhythm of your feet,
the comfort of your scent
the glimpse of your smile,
the warmth of your hands
the beauty of your presence?

Am I a stone,
only longing when alone
only hurting when I remember,
only reflecting when it’s silent
only scribbling when I’m nostalgic?

Am I a stone,
that I replaced you with another
dad?

    What a masterpiece!
    So simple and succinct.
    Yet rich in such beauties
We so long for, as treasure…
