In Creative Corner, poetry

Nilimtazama kuku, kwa utuvu na makini,
Ndipo nikawaza huku, baada ya kubaini,
Kisha ikaja shauku, ya kunena kwa yakini,
Jama akiumwa mama, watoto huwa tabuni.

Ugonjwa huzaa janga, zito lisilo uzani,
Huteseka vifaranga, pindi mama taabani,
Wakabakia kutanga, mara nje mara ndani,
Jama akiumwa mama, watoto huwa tabuni.

Hupoteza uimara, wakawa wa mashakani,
Hofu kwao kila mara, huwatanda mtimani,
Wasiweze kuchakura, chakula huko jaani,
Jama akiumwa mama, watoto huwa tabuni.

Vitoto vyake huliya, wakimuomba Manani,
Aweze kumjaliya, arudi kama zamani,
Ampe njema afiya, warejee furahani,
Jama akiumwa mama, watoto huwa tabuni.

Tama yaniisha hamu, kuendeleza uneni,
Ombi wenye utimamu, taratibu chunguzeni,
Hata kwake binadamu, na kisha niambieni,
Jama akiumwa mama, watoto huwa tabuni.
