With eyes at the back just in case!
To sprint or just walk? Directions, please
Lost amid the pandemonium
All, reticent for fear of their lives
Nerves shrieking in pain in South Sudan
Friends hacking each other in the Congo
Xenophobia reeling in Southern Africa
Narcissists ruling homes while snuffing out breath from “soulmates” in Nigeria
Students stabbing mates and teachers in campuses in Cameroon.
To live or not to live herein, is the question.
Oh Motherland, my Africa, once a pride!
Lately not different from a mouth full of religious quotes yet,
A heart as night, with wraiths as friends haunting our existence.
Where is that love, are we still one people?
Have we all become self-sufficient sadists?
What happened to being each other’s keeper and toasting to more life?
We’ve all lost it!
Oh hello! Yes! You’re right, Mr. Psychiatrist speaking.
How may I help you?
Miss Africa here in dire need of a brain reset.
