Get me that dress black as night
I don’t want to mess up this chance
In block-shaped heels, I will rock and hop
Let’s get to the party, let’s dance
Bell bottom jeans would do right
The one white as cotton in a glance
I will match it with my yellow chiffon top
Let’s get to the party, let’s dance
Where’s my yellow comb and its might?
My hair is dark, woolly and tough like aunt’s
I will tie my blue scarf, and my afro will pop
Let’s get to the party, let’s dance
On the next occasion, a mini skirt, sky bright!
We need to rock and roll whenever we have a chance
I will knit a yellow crochet sweater and a top
Let’s get to the party, let’s dance
I hope Kimaru gets me a Twinkie and a skin-tight
Adorn your yellow beaded necklace from France
Your hipster and turtleneck blouse are pomp and top
Let’s get to the party, let’s dance.
