We chant,
May we dwell in unity, peace and liberty,
Yet elections get rigged
And our women are burnt, land is grabbed.
All motivated by senseless ethnic violence.
Shamelessly, they sit with fat bellies tucked
Just watching souls drop dead like flies.
Why do we keep letting this happen?
Chaos is never the magic bullet.
Beautiful continent now a mess,
Smell of corpses rent the air
Rather than the aura of peace.
Our existence threatened
And our pride smashed to smithereens.
Why are we willing to live with this carnage?
People flee from Ukraine,
Shoot outs in Texas slays 19 minors…
Undeniably, the world walks in shambles.
We require a renewed call for action,
Chaos is atrocious, we can choose serenity.
Let justice be our shield,
Let’s be our brother’s steward…
So we can elude havoc,
The time is now!
